Playboi Carti Prepares For His Headline Tour 2017

Up and coming Atlanta rapper, Playboi Carti, has announced a 35-date headliner tour across the nation.  This will be his first headlining tour and the announcement comes just in time for his appearance on the 2017 XXL Freshman cover.

The tour will also feature Young Nudy and Pierre Bourne, who is responsible for production of Carti’s breakout hit song, Magnolia.  The song has gained momentum since its release.  He’s even appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform the hit.

Playboi Carti will visit major cities throughout the United States, starting in Seattle, WA at Showbox SoDo on July 8, 2017 and finishing in Denver, CO at Ogden Theatre on August 29, 2017.  He will make appearances at a few festivals in between tour dates.

Prodigy Of Mobb Deep Dead At 42

Queens NY rapper, Prodigy, and one half of the rap duo, Mobb Deep, has passed away after complications stemming from sickle cell disease.  At the ripe age of 42, the rapper took his last breath.

The duo was on tour for the Art of Rap concert and performed Saturday night in Las Vegas.  It’s reported that some time after the performance Prodigy was hospitalized due to complications with sickle cell anemia.  He was found unconscious this morning.

Blac Youngsta is coming to New York on June 28, 2017 at Gramercy Theatre.  The Memphis rapper is a member of the CMG imprint, which is a label ran by “Down in the DM” rapper, Yo Gotti.

As of recent, Blac Youngsta has found himself on the wrong side of the law for his alleged involvement in the Young Dolph shooting, a rival Memphis rapper.  Blac Youngsta has since been released on bail and has proclaimed his innocence in a song titled “I’m Innocent” and another song titled “Birthday”.

XXXTentacion Gets Knocked Out On Stage While Performing

XXXTentacion was performing in San Diego at the Observatory North Park, when a man rushed the stage and punched XXXTentacion to the ground, knocking him out cold.  The man who did the punching was bum rushed by security, who pounded on him.  Reportedly, the man also suffered stab wounds and was rushed to the hospital.  Watch the video below to see the knock out!
