Lil Skies – Nowadays (Official Video)

Lil Skies drops a video for Nowadays.  It’s a dope visual and the vocals are on point.  It features Landon Cube and is directed by Cole Bennett.  Keep doing your thing Skies.  You’re on your way!

SZA – The Weekend (Official Video)

SZA drops the visuals for her song, The Weekend, off the CTRL album which dropped in June.  This song has been hot on the charts for weeks and it’s finally good to see visuals for it, but I’m a bit disappointed.

Since the song is detailed and descriptive it would’ve been better suited as a concept video, showing the relationship play out on screen.  Still a great song.  Much respect and shout out to SZA.  Keep doing ya thing!

Jay-Z – Legacy (Music Video)

Jay-Z releases the official visuals for his song, Legacy, which is off his 4:44 album, that dropped earlier this year.  It’s a thought-provoked and theatrical mini-movie.  The short film features some influential actors as well as new faces.  It concludes with 7 inmates breaking free from prison in what’s known as the Carter Escape on September 4th (Beyonce bday).  Jay-Z’s song, Legacy, plays in the outro.
